How about LISTING the available MODS, Download Links and any Updates (For further play) of/on Stranded II HERE (where it would be easy for someone to ...

a) FIND THEM .. and
b) To DOWNLOAD them.

Afterall, YOU want people to PLAY your mod/s BUT it is a PAIN to try and "Track Them Down" in order to FIND them.

SO .. Waddaya Say? Is this even a worthwhile thread?
(or am I just having "wishfull thinking"?)

HEY .. I am NOT a "programmer / mod developer" but just a PLAYER .. and I have FINISHED "Stranded II Adventure". (Hell, once you have the gist of what to do, it is SOOOOO EASY ... (Without Cheating.))

I'm gonna try Bloodshot's "my stranded" next .. (Let's see how I do.)

NOW it is "Over-To-YOU"

I run an Intel P4, (3Ghz CPU) with 2xGb RAM and a total of 450Gb of HDD Space (which I Plan to upgrade by ANOTHER 500Gb) because I CAN'T FIT all my games in this small space!

Most mods listed there are in german. Maybe some of the english modders here could sign in there, too.

Thank you, I had a look, but since I don't speak/understand German, I guess I will have to wait until "someone" does this stuff in ENGLISH!

look if this mod has a executable and watch for the folder called : mods. If there is a folder called mods, copy this into your stranded 2 folder. if not, there should be a folder called like the mod. put it into your mods folder. Then go back to the stranded2 folder. Is there the executable? if not, and you have one, copy it in there. if you have none, make a new textfile in your folder, open it, write there:
start StrandedII.exe -mod MODNAME

save it, rename it to:
modname.bat make sure, there is no .txt after the .bat and then try to start it with the modname.bat

No. I weighed the pro's and con's of each decision and decided to not make a new folder and instead allow the *user* to make the new folder for one important reason:

Smaller download.

For MM, I explained in the readme how you can make your own folder, and even provided a bat file that will work if you follow the instructions exactly.

"List of Available Mods for Stranded II" (being the title),

meant that herein (this thread) a person could find where to download a Mod from, and I was only making these links available.

I just think the title should be changed because it insists that it is just a list. However Changeing it could insist new updates and flaws of every mod or somthing like that. It is your thread, though, and this is just a suggestion.
