I will say some facts that you should know about building and choosing of wells.

1) To succesfully find an perfect place for a well you need to find "Y" form branch (NOT DRY!!! BUT "JUICY"!!!).
2) Take it into your hand in this way " /\ " not by the end.
3) With the branch in the hands walk around your territory, if the end of your branch bends (goes) down, you found the "water divining", and that means, that if you will dig there to the water, and build there your water well, the water WON'T END.

This metod where used in my contry (Latvia) for tousens of years. And this metod were used even in the most of our world. And now I give this knowladge to you, USE it.

Edit: Don't worry about coal...realised you can use charcoal for forge. PS a new idea for an achievement....Smoking a joint while watching a sheeps eyeballs

If you tottaly can't think up, how to do something, look in mod directory of combinations.

Just wondering could you make a set of "building nails" which are needed to build buildings instead of clicking 120+ times that can be easily converted into nails used on weapons/object nails with a hammer?

Also i think the bark breaking rate needs to increase and perhaps add a maximum amount of materials from each piece because surviving off 3 pieces of bark is a bit over the top.

Is there any way to make the game/monsters get progressively harder as you seem to get to a point where it isn't a stress to survive maybes increase monster patrolling rate each day giving a use to palisades/walls.

Also with the lumbering skill perhaps make a bit easier to get up because at the moment after playing this game for over 3 years i have never gotten near max lumbering

Oh and a quick question is there any way to fix or prevent it when the ground turns black/ glitches (i have latest graphics driver)

I built the distiller, got some saltwater in a bottle and put it in the distiller. I distilled it for about a whole day/night but I only get salt. Can you get fresh water like this, or does this only produce salt?

It used to change salt water to fresh water after producing some salt, but the latest update seems to have broken that.

i think builder made a special key for the picking up stuck things, try 'u'

MM is not dead-- it's the project I return to during summers and breaks for a nice rest, something easy to code in my free time.

Look back through the thread. There are always long periods of inactivity. *shrug*

I will point out one thing:
Stranded II is old. It doesn't work very well on Vista, and Windows 7 outright kills it for most people. If DC releases a Stranded III, believe me, I will port over the ideas and content in MM.

Care to share the link? seems megaupload is not working at all and filedropper has an empty file for me as well

Edit: Not sure if you changed it or it was the DNS/proxy server we have at work, but the megaupload link now directed me to a 3rd site, that had providers other than megaupload and the other links woked. If you did something-Thanks, if not well then the issues is above and beyond me.
