21 replies You hold your weapon tight against your body while your zoomed in on the enemy.. While he is helpless, stuck in a corner.. You unleash a shot.. And trust me, it feels good. Yes I'm talking about sniper rifles.. Feared and hard to get used to. My two favorite sniper rifles are the Scout and the AWP. I buy an AWP whenever I'm on the Terrorist side. I buy a Scout whenever I'm on the Counter-Terrorist side. Why? Basically because the Scout's color fits the Counter-Terrorist side more, and the AWP fits the Terrorists more.. In my opinion. What surprises me is that I don't see alot of people using Scouts.. Mostly its because they don't know how to use it. Well I'm here to put a name on the Scout.

Damage w/ no zoom: 15
Damage w/ 1x zoom: 34
Damage w/ 2x zoom: 56
As you notice it takes two hits while 2x zoomed to kill an enemy. You may think ''Yeah well an AWP kills you instantly while 2x zoomed'', yes that's true, but lets look on something different: A Scout takes a short time to shoot a bullet after the first one is shot. The AWP takes a long time to shoot a bullet after the first shot, which mostly causes the death of AWP-users, by shooting and missing, while the long time to wait to shoot the next bullet, your enemy comes rushing and kills you.
While with a Scout you can actually have a chance when your enemy rushes you.

Lol, it's nice that your posting this information, but a lot of people already tested and know this. But It's nice you posted anyway.

yeah, the only thing about this is that the people who use AWP already practiced to be accurate enough to not miss with their first shot, while scout is faster, it lacks the advantages the AWP offers to good players
case:
a new player uses an AWP and misses each shot, he will learn to not buy the awp again
a pro will use AWP and almost never miss (coughcough) and will use it often
so in theory, ur plan works well but not so great practically Most people fail at learning how to use snipers because they don't know what the right-click button does. When you 1-hit kill them with an AWP they call you a hacker.
And then I wait for ban.
Scout is good for a mass amount of people on a big map, just spray scout. 
yes i have experienced that too R04R I can take out 5 players equipped with scouts, while I got awp.
It depends on what map, whether it's my favorite or not.

Did you ever mentoined, that the Scout is one of the lightest weapons in game and makes you ran as fast as with a pistol. Scouters are basicaly much faster. 
Depending on what type of tactic u are using, for a scout, a scout is the best Yeah, but I use the knife then.
And I would not run, you would just die tired. Hmm Sg550 best gun ever 
No d3/a1! sg550 is a noob weapon... There are actually no "Noob weapons" in CS, because every weapon is balanced in his own cost category. Even AWP isnt a noob weapon like most peaple say, its very strong, yes you can kill someone by shooting its left thumb, but it also has very long reload times! And its very expensive. hmmm the m3 is a nice weapeon

the range it only worse yea, one time, i killed all 5 ct´s in a row. They were walking as a team one behinde oneother. It was that map with the 3 Big Gasoline Tanks, i was stil on the Spawn, i donno, covering my team wich was walking down, so i zommed in twice, i just saw the whole ct- team walking through those doubledoors in front of me. I didnt wait, shot five times, five headshots, T-win! Nice huh?

actually, sg550 and the Gs are considered to be noob weapons by many due to it ease to use, which in turn justifies its noobiness, any weapon that's that easy to use and kill is not considered well ballanced, especially when the cost is not significantly higher... Personally, I'm more of a rifle guy, m4a1/ak-47. If I use snipers, people complain to me that I lag too much.

pfffffft, they complain about the "lag" when ur rifflin too XD, but my complaints are real *whistles As you all know, the AWP can kill multiple people in one shot.
And I know some other weapons can do too lol, but I pesonally think that the AWP has the upper hand.
