Today 5:30 AM after my night shift, I remembered this site and the memories it made 8 years ago, and decided to come for a nostalgic trip before taking a nap, and I genuinely felt delighted until I checked my own profile.

I have since deleted all my uploaded files because I just couldn't stand it.

Just looking back at the thirteen year old me with the god forsaken childish grammar made me cringe so fucking hard.

I would also like to sincerely apologize to anyone who had to put up with my shit because I definitely did act like a dumbass kid, as seen on some of my posts/comments on my profile.


But all that aside,
CS2D and Carnage Contest are the first two games that truly sparked my creative mind, And even though i really sucked at creating 'content' for this community, (If the "Dual RPG" sprite where I copy+paste+flipped the RPG from CS2D even counts as content), I don't think I would've gotten myself into Lua nor generally started being creative, if it wasn't for this site.

I am now a programmer of at least 5+ languages, video editor, musical artist (passion project), and a proud user of this community in hindsight.

Thank you DC for the amazing hours of entertainment you've provided to me and my friends.

I wish each and every one of you the best of luck in the future, I'll be lurking here and there, maybe even posting something if my will to live regenerates back from the cringe, and DC, I'm still hyped for S3, Buying it on day one.

I felt the same. I couldn't remind myself I actually did this or that. But it must've been me. It must be normal to cringe and feel awkward. We are the first generations to experience this. We are the first ones who had virtually everything we did saved... somewhere.

Now imagine "NSA". A life-long dossier. Eventually, looking deep into your past you'll have thought or said something that can be used to incriminate you. Even if you no longer think this way.

But damn I learned a lot of things from this website more than I ever had from my life. I still remember the contender to US that was GameBanana, but who even goes to CS2D's GB anymore? Now I don't know if that website still exists or not.

Love the experience that I have with this website. 9 years and still counting. Still checking it everyday.

You're not alone, cowboy. Reading this made me remember my eleven years old cringe-ass 2012 times of USGN. I even sometimes have flashbacks of those cringy moments. Yeah, time passed quickly
