DC: No. Poll whether to use FunkyFart or keep Unreal Software. Funky fart is literally the shittiest name I've seen in this thread so far. 
IMHO, generic already provides a classy level of understatement. Where do you live, what street? What's your favourite food? The name of the hill you like to run up? A catch phrase people in your neighbourhood use... Where do you go for a swim..? There are so many everyday questions to which perhaps one answer might be the generic part of the name you're looking for

I beg to differ. Unreal Software is really misleading to the point that some (or a few) newcomers think it has to do with Unreal series games by Epic Games which is of course not true.

In my opinion, You're making a mistake letting them belive that they would actually have a serious impact on your decisions.
It's your site. These are your games. You made the unreal software. If You want to change the name to funkyfart, just do it. You like it and that's literally the most important thing. There's really no need for behaving like offended dad, because his kids didn't like the idea of going fishing on sunday's morning. You're the father, which sounds weird, of this entire community and You have the power. Do what you want. Instead of letting people shitpost here and letting them try to convince you to change your mind, close the topic. Prepare a new one with a logo, some fancy words, present it as a bright future for upcoming changes and improvements. Funkyfart will sell then.

I'm disappointed with the name really, sounds like some comedy studio or something. Please make a poll just to see if people like it before making it official.
I fear that if this were the name it would guarentee only kids would bother checking it out. We all love a good fart joke from time to time, but there's no way in hell I'd be able to convince any of my non-CS2D friends to take the game seriously with that name. Stranded, sure, but not an online shooter. And we really need new players to take CS2D seriously.
In the end, I suppose something with "fart" in it would be perfect for vaporware.
DC: If you are really serious with the name Funky Fart, then I suppose we must have a poll to decide whether to use it. In this post you can see the majority of us(the ones posted) oppose to the idea. You are the website owner, the name change is in your disposal. But the name would really deter new comers as they can hardly relate a fart to a community dedicated to gaming and such.
