BcY, and what? 2D game may include pos. based world, like in gta1(2). Frozen state and other games. The problem is that for now we don't know how images would be applied for these walls.
Btw another question, if i'll place an image on the wall, how would it looks like, image which cover players? There should be option which make this image move with player, such as 2-nd floor, but just image, set it's high value and make custom roof, train-rails etc.

+1 for this, 3D image placement would open many new possibilities. Like you said, custom roofs, train-rails and etc.
Also, with enough work you can create the illusion of 3D graphics by using multiple 2D layers. That's what Rockstar Games did in GTA Chinatown Wars:

Mr_Outsider: The feature will be available in the next build version. The time estimation for the release isn't planned though so you have got to be patient.

CS2D in 3D? Heh, finally something is happening, after all these "CS2D needs update" or whatever. Glad to see this. Players will have hard times to adapt this "3D" though. Looking forward to it.
I'm awesome ... and I really like cookies.
I like it, but at the same time I don't because it kills the essence of the 2D game I've been playing a long time ago, but as soon this will be an option to turn on/off it wont be a problem.

I am amused by this situation, for more than 3 years I and many others have written about adding 3D features and elements to cs2d, but now when it's relatively confirmed some of users much look like double-faced idiots - before at old situation they said it was all crap and shit (same like whole main crowd), and now them write "it's awesome, that's cool".
People simply do not understand difference between 3d and 2D, and fact that what is added does not change old one.

Major bugs:
I just discovered, via comparison and i am very sure because i was like 20 min doing it.
render3d affects the visibility of shooting...
the sprays are MUCH harder to see leading to a very big disadvantaje

Another disadvantaje:

Much harder visibility. Crucial for competitive gaming.
Fow was not designed for these 3D things, its much harder to find the enemy, literally it seems just random to find them with fow.
Also note that its square cut, since Smooth is already bad designed for competitive gaming because it tells you that you are seeing a tile but you're actually not. And square cut tells you the truth.
+Harder visibilty between both people 3D.

And more bad things for competitive gaming:

Because all of this, there MUST be an option apart from picking it yourself at options.

sv_render3d 1/0
Otherwise, no one is gonna play with it because of the big disadvantajes.

Andrez: That is ridiculous. 3D render does not affect FOW at all. It does not effect any code related to the gameplay... And this is going to be server-sided option, or map option in the end. So both players will see the same mode. Also it looks like you don't really know how FOW works. The situation you have shown is usual to happen with current FOW system.
And that's the point of 3D walls - is that you can hide behind them. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
