To setup a CS2D server on a VPS (depending on what OS) as some VPS:s might actually be having Windows OS. Then it's just straight forward you download the game and the dedicated server and run it and you got yourself a game server.
On Linux OS it's quite different as sometimes you need a dependency and such. I've created a script that automatically installs that dependency and sets up your game server automagically. You can download it here. Just follow the instructions and it should work fine.

So let's get started ..
First create a usario and permissions
example:
1
chmod 777 /home/usercreated/cs2d_dedicated
Ready to open the server type if the putty by SSH
example:
1
nohup /home/CS2D/cs2d_dedicated

Face with VPS you can open as many servers as you want. Remember that you must open ports udp / tcp by your putty or other connector server
Here in the above I described the look command.

So first of all ask them about the server ports.
Server wnt work if u wrote a wrong port on the server.cfg.
I mean the particular ports which are provided for the server nt the vps.
