I would def. figure out what your current icon means, but in general my brain would connect it mainly to audio options.

yeah your right... i didnt actually know what the icon meant until i read what dc wrote...
id choose a gear or cog as well, but its obvious that DC is trying to make it survival themed...

A set of sliders is also a common icon for settings but yes, you're right. gears / tools / toolboxes are the most obvious choice and more often used as icon for settings. I'll consider to change it!

That would be a cool idea, if certain conditions are known through auditory means: bleeding is signified by dripping on the ground as well as a gradual decrease in vitality, a growling for a hungry stomach, a fracture as a cracking noise as you walk.
The container item concept reminds me of DayZ where wearing certain items grant you more space.

Yes, someone should have/did have posted the question you did. And its obvious The map should be bigger and more badass then ever etc
