When I do maths I use a flat division sign and that's pretty plain and simple like this as shown above the six.

But sometimes I switch it up and make use of the "/" or any relative of the division sign. But no I don't use the exact value of "÷"(Alt+0247) in math for some reason.

I just love the flat division sign that badly.

I use flat divisions too. They make it easier to see what the divisor is. If you use the normal division sign, you will need to use brackets.

X equals ~26.03? Just didn't have anything else to do
I usually use the / sign, even when hand-writing
Or the flat div. sign, just like Kim.

wtf never heard of people using ':' to divide

edit:
wikipedia- In some non-English-speaking cultures, "a divided by b" is written a : b. However, in English usage the colon is restricted to expressing the related concept of ratios (then "a is to b").
