as you can see, someone else posted the same problem not long ago.
search → read → think → post
I think you need DirectX 7 for Stranded 2.
you should be able to install it beside the other one without any problems.
it still could be that your graphics card or vista wont support DX7 properly but it's worth a try.

read the standed system requirements and try t reinstallThe title says it. Even Stranded 1 has the same problem. I use IBM Thinpad with DirectX 9.0c Shador and I don't know about my graphic card. It's really annyoing and it crashes all the time in-game when I look upwards. It's hard not to look up in-game.

heres a joke: it crashes cuz when u look up a plane falls on you and its soo heavy that even the game crashes
