The newest version of CS2D is out!

Check the changelog(in the folder) for the updates.


So... yeah.... I decided to make a thread because no one else made one.

CHANGED
AK47/M4A1 are more balanced/equal now

I checked, they have exactly the same stats now except...

Cost:
$2500/$3100

Variation:
Average(3 Variation)/ Average(2 Variation)


The AK-47 has lower Variation (more accuracy) but lower damage now.

Fairness? You decide.

ADDED
You can now upgrade barricades to walls (fast and cheap!)

A little too cheap... and too fast.

Why make Wall I's now when it costs only
$300+$200 for an upgrade
and yet takes about the same amount of time?

CHANGED
Not allowed to change team on roundstart in Zombies! mode

You cannot change team on roundstart anymore.

Add some freeze time and you can... which is a good thing for those who want "old-style" CS2D.

And... there's ton of other updates... but, they're all good things... I think

So, Comment?

barricade upgrade: there will still be people who will build wall 1. why? because they are too lazy to upgrade manually. you pay the lower price by working more.

zombies stuff: really had to be changed because it led to very unfair situations (many zombie players changing to CT on start so teams became totally unfair).


just my opinion about that and why I did it

First of all, love the new cs2d version. Great good job. DC. The few, features i like in the new version are the small weapon icons, which display when you kill, the ak/m4 are evened out, and the HE delay is perfect. I've noticed alot of people have been complaining about the HE delay, lately in-game, no idea why. As i said the delay is perfect, back in beta 0.1.0.4 the HE delay was really slow, then when max started the delay was too fast, now it's perfect.

Few Suggestions For the next update
• When firing Pistol(s), instead of holding down the fire button, you should click it, each time you fire.
• Flashbang should have same delay as the HE grenade.

That's all i can think of at the moment.
I hate to admit it, but this version, probably beats 0.1.0.4

Lol. That would be pointless for automatic pistols, don't ya think?

Ah, version is alright except the grenade delay which seems to be fail. I mean you throw a grenade/flash five seconds later *boom* who's going to stand there that long and get blown-up or flashed?
