Well this is something weird... I downloaded the game and I can't join any team, but I can spectate the game. That means that I'm connected to the server, but I just can't join any team.. when I try to do so, the menu is like loading but it keeps like that and never joins.

I tried creating a server and I could join teams.

So:
• I can't join a team in other's servers.
• I can join a team in my own server.

This never happened to me before

Probably because of lag. I've experienced something like this on laggy servers. Is it on all servers or just that one (on your own server it'll obviously not lag) ?

I tried with a server with 40ms of latency, and other 3 random ones...

Interesting... you should click on you'r mouse when you've choosed one cause that's what i do when that happens. Otherwise i don't know.

It can't be that... I opened the game twice, created a server in one window (I can play normally) and join my own server in the other window, and the same happens, I can't join teams.

It happened the same day I downloaded and it's the zip/rar version, so it would not make much sense.

You should try installing cs2d (exe version) and then see if it works, maybe the zip version caused the problem.

That's after choosing a team (auto-select does the same)

And it stays like that forever.

EDIT:

I realized something that maybe is important. When I disconnect from a server in which I cannot join teams, the game pops up a msg: "The server has been shut down", and if I try to reconnect to the same server, it says "Connection with server already exists".

I don't understand why is this happening, if someone can help me

Seems not, LUA scripts should doesn't berhave like that, try to check screenshot above.

I disabled some options in my router's firewall and now I can join teams. I can't find any logical explanation to that but it worked. I'm also curious, because I never had this problem before, and I don't remember changing anything in my router's firewall configuration.

It's indeed very strange that your firewall just blocked that specific package but allowed all other traffic of the game server to pass through. This doesn't make any sense. Which firewall software are you using?
