Windows 7 uses a crapload of resources - old computers can't even run it. If you run XP and Windows 7 on exactly the same machine, XP will turn out to be faster. Try running Win 7 on my old desktop and you wouldn't be able to do anything because windows 7 uses all the RAM and half of the hard disk.
Don't forget that the basics of the Windows 7 kernel date from 1993 and are also used in Windows XP. The only thing that has changed are some stability updates, which probably cause instability in other parts.

Administrator privilegies made it more safer. Also vista was flip off just to get money and continue with windows 7 get your facts straight.
You writen half page text and none of them says why xp is supposed to be best. All friends i know are upgrading from "stupid xp" as they say to win 7 ALL. So xp is outdated. And i have to say you are wrong, really wrong. Win 7 doesnt use "crap load" of resorces. You think it becouse you never used it. I have win 7 and my cpu usage is 1 - 10% while gaming games like crysis 2 on max i got 60% usage. So dont say facts that are not right. Also operating system canot use big ammout of rams. Processor is used for processes thats why its called "PROCES-SOR" strange thing is it uses 1 - 10 % of my cpu. Also xp is not good hard to work with trust me i had it. Its crap. Explorer exe is slow it takes 30 mins till it deletes 1gb or more files in trash while win 7 can do it 1 min or less. I think people should update to win 7 and microsoft does good that they will stop supporting it.

On average pc i think its nothing 500mb ram and people who keep PCs with 500mb ram or less are silly. Programs are getting updated aplications are getting updated so it will take more memory and in 2 years 500mb pc wont be able to run even 1 aplication.
Also i think its pretty useless. While you can change win 7 theme to default theme which still looks better than XP and takes less memroy than XP or same memory. Maybe now you are bloodyminded and dont want to listen to people who try to help but in 4 years your friends will be like "omg you use win xp what a poor human i cant belive that look we haz brand new win 8 and you not Ha Ha, Ha Ha" Yeah pretty annoying i know.

Yes it does you think you are smart but you are know Z0 is right and its not just becouse micorosoft doesnt want to update it. I give you example of win 7 and xp how easy target can xp be.

Hacker 1.... He successfully hacked into windows xp...hmm... nothing hard no passwords nothing he just hacked it like playing a game.
Hacker 2. He hacked into win 7... Oh whats this It asks for password ! What is that password omg i try to hack it. After an hour of trying he was unable to hack the pass so he created new account. Finaly i am in the pc now lets delete needed filles. When he tryes to delete files message pops up : This operation requires administrator privilegies please turn on Yourname - PC and ask for privilegies. Hacker is like : DAMN i was unable to hack it i better gtg.
Easy but right example. Oh and dont take thouse hacking steps seriously i dont know the hacking procedure so i invented it. But the principe is still same.

You got 2 sons. You will give super mario to first one and gta 4 to second one. They start playing. After an hour first son comes to you saying "Dad why does my brother have sutch an amazing game while i have to play this old crap"

Also if you have super pc why keep XP when you can update to win 7 ? You had money for 1000€ pc why not spend 50€ for win 7 ? Only dumb would keep on low end OP with super PC.
If you got low end pc and you keep XP that i undestand it but still. Game are getting better and better graphic and gameplay. Aplications are getting better. Tell me what would you do with sutch a slow pc ? I tell you : nothing. You couldnt even run simple program like gimp 2.6. I know what am i saying its year since i bought new gaming pc. my old pc was so overpowered that it took several boot ups to start properly and i was using just simple programs. Your example about games is kinda stupid, Seven can handle more than 4gb ram, but there is XP SP3 x64 somewhere btw, lol.

SP3 can run everything that Seven can run. But not the reverse, some old programs, games, or what ever it can be, will NOT run on seven.
I said 4gb ram, because for me its only one advantage of Seven. XP cant recognize more than 4gb.
